As a board, we’ll carry out the same functions as a Governing Body and we’ll work with the school to further support school improvement. 

The ILGB has been appointed to hold the leadership to account for standards and safeguarding as part of the School’s Improvement Plan. They will also be responsible for:

• Upholding good governance of the School
• Promoting the School and safeguarding the School’s values
• Monitoring achievements, quality of teaching, behaviour and safety
• Engage with all the School’s stakeholders, for example parents/careers, pupils and staff.
